Kate Broadbent is a highly experienced engineering and project management professional, with over 25 years’ experience across the full building lifecycle.

As Director at ASQ, Kate specialises in building diagnostics, condition assessments, defect mitigation and project management, providing clients with data-driven insights to protect and enhance their assets.

With a background spanning design engineering through to chartered project management, Kate has worked across government, defence, body corporate and private sector projects, bringing a strong understanding of both technical and commercial considerations.

Kate is known for her practical, solutions-focused approach—identifying risks early and helping clients deliver cost-effective, compliant and well-managed outcomes. She has operated a successful independent consultancy for over 10 years, supporting clients across Queensland.

Maintenance & Major Projects: the who, what, when, why and how
