As the Christmas holiday season approaches and we prepare to wrap up another successful year, Smart Strata, alongside our foundation partners Archers the Strata Professionals, Strata Compliance Solutions and MAI Strata, would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued support throughout 2024.

In our final article for 2024, we provide our year in review including a summary of key topics of focus for the industry we covered. We also provide date saver details for our 2025 seminars and office close dates including online records access and trade services contact options over the holidays.

We began 2024, like many businesses around us, ready to hit the ground running after a fast-paced few years. As we reflect on all that this year has been, we are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and how much we’ve grown.

Throughout 2024, Smart Strata proudly hosted 12 seminars across Queensland, welcoming nearly 800 Owners and Committee Members. (If you missed these, you can still catch up on all the updates HERE.)

This year, our focus topics included Legislation Changes—covering pets, parking, smoking, and scheme termination—as well as By-Laws: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (SEQ) and Insurance: Affordability and Accountability (NQ).

In 2024, we sent out 51 Strata Updates featuring 117 articles, which have collectively been read over 630,000 times. Our active database has grown to include 61,724 subscribers, and we are proud to have 192 active preferred suppliers across Queensland.

Smart Strata has exciting plans for 2025! We’re gearing up for two seminar series that promise to be bigger and better than ever, along with a lineup of excellent and informative content on key topics affecting the Strata community.

Our first series of seminar dates and venues has now been released—so mark your calendars, and we’ll see you there! The topic for our upcoming May 2025 seminars will be announced early in the new year, so stay tuned!
