I am pleased to advise that the office has created a new online training module, along with a new guide to living in a body corporate.

This training module is designed to help participants better understand body corporate living and the rights and responsibilities that may arise throughout the property lifecycle. For anyone already registered in our training, it will automatically appear under the “Training” tab within the “BCCM Training” pathway as a new topic.

The new training module provides guidance on:

• key considerations when buying a lot in a body corporate property
• important information for sellers 
• the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants
• common issues that arise in community titles schemes.

We have also published a new guide to living in a body corporate. This online resource provides an overview of community living, including what is a body corporate and how it works, your rights and obligations as an owner or occupier, and where to go for information and dispute resolution assistance.

Whether you are an owner, buyer, seller, occupier, property manager or industry professional, these resources are an opportunity to enhance your understanding of community living and access practical information to help navigate common issues.
